- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat and whisk until combined.
Stir continously until the mixture thickens. Adjust with sugar, salt or vinegar as needed.
- Should yield about 3/4 cup sauce.
- Store for a week in an airtight container or jar.
