Garlic Bread

This Garlic Bread is the best and so easy to make. A crispy baguette slathered in a tasty homemade garlic butter, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, a must in my opinion, then toasted to perfection, makes this for a truly incredible Garlic Bread experience!

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette cut in half, horizontally
  • 1 recipe garlic butter
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  • Prep the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Prepare the bread with butter and cheese: Spread the butter evenly over each side of the bread, use as much butter as you like, but use at least ¼ cup on each side. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese over each half of bread.
  • Bake: Place the bread on a baking pan and transfer to the oven. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden around the edges and toasted.
  • Serve: Cut into slices and serve.

Notes

  1. Slice the bread right after you take it out of the oven so it can cut nicely and have the edges of each slice covered with melted cheese.
  2. Make the garlic butter ahead of time and store it in an airtight glass container and in the fridge for easy access and convenient use.
  3. Baked garlic bread doesn't store well in the fridge, it's best to serve and consume it right after you take it out of the oven.
  4. If you'd like to make garlic bread ahead of time, you could prep the garlic bread up to the baking stage, wrap in plastic foil and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
